This update is focused on making the player's gameplay a bit easier? It brings about a couple of new features that allows you to play more efficiently and with less effort.
The good old basic attack was all we had, and it's still all we have, but it may get tedious to some doing the continuous clicking for each attack. Hence, we are introducing the Continuous Slash Skill which allows you to attack by simply holding down on the attack key. This takes a bit of the fun out of the gameplay, but it makes a lot of boring chores, such as chopping trees or destroying objects, much less tedious. Of course, even with this new skill, you will still be able to do single attacks if you so desire.
This patch also grants more efficiency to lifeskills. There will now be a prompt for cooking if you cook more than one food at once. This now allows for you to efficiently select the amount you want to cook, and it will be instantly completed afterwards. Of course, the rate of success still will be independent of the amount you cook. On the other hand, a new craftable, the Magical Fishing Rod, will allow you to automate your fishing. It will automatically replace your bait and allow you to fish until your baits run out. This does not speed up the fishing process, but it will make it less tedious as you will no longer have to manually throw out your hook every time.
Besides the automation section, this patch also brings about a new, menacing Blood Moon mob, the Flying Bloodfish. This variation of the Flying Fish leaves a poisonous trail of smoke in its path, making it much more difficult to kill; however, it does give a bountiful reward as it's guaranteed that you will get the new Bloodfish from the hunt. You can also get the Bloodfish by fishing during the Blood Moon.
Regarding the NPCs, it has come to our notice that it may be tedious to find the NPC over and over again just to trade with him. Hence, we are introducing the NPC Rug! The NPC Rug can be crafted and placed inside your house to designate a location for encountered NPCs to spawn. After you find the NPC once, the NPC will now spawn near the NPC Rug from henceforth! This will make future interactions with the NPCs much more easier.
On a side note, the Recovery Spell is now upgradeable, so you can now heal more than 1 HP with it. There is no limit on the upgrade like usual, hence it is possible to heal multiple HP (more than 2) if you upgrade it enough. The new craftable Life Core also regenerates your HP over time but passively.
